"Since my parents, both now in their 90s, began needing regular help to enable them to continue to live at home, YES has offered them a reliable, efficient, flexible and caring service. It is usually the same carer who comes each day to prepare lunch, help around the house and garden, and do errands like collecting medication. A relationship has been built with the carer, and her ability to anticipate their needs and raise concerns is much appreciated. We feel my parents benefit from YES being a family run organisation in the personalised service they receive."

"I can’t thank Y.E.S enough for the wonderful help and support that they gave to my Mum. Jake and the team were professional, reliable, trustworthy and caring with the service that they gave. Nothing was too much trouble for them, from doing the shopping, collecting prescriptions, putting the washing on, cleaning and cooking fantastic home made meals. Mum got the care and support that she needed and great company when they were with her and I’m thankful for their service. A truly wonderful team!"

"I am eternally grateful for the love, care, compassion and understanding that Jake, Teresa, and the team provided to my mum and dad.

Mum and Dad would look forward to the twice daily visits where fresh food, loving care and comforting conversation was always the order of the day, nothing was too much trouble. You all made Dad and especially Mums last year special, not just for her but for us the family too."

“We came across Rachel on Facebook and decided to give her a call. My mum just needed some help to maintain an independent as possible life while she waits to go into a home. Rachel has been wonderful. She has helped mum so much. She even sourced us a cheap wheelchair so Mum can have some little trips out. She does exactly what Mum wants. Although my Mum has qualified for carers to come in, she still wants to keep Rachel. Thank you Rachel for all you do for Mum x"

“Rachel has been providing a consistently high quality of care and support for my mother and I honestly don’t know what she would do without her. Her knowledge and training is excellent which ensures my mother receives the best support. Rachel is also very friendly, attentive and flexible, often going out of her way to put my mother’s needs first. I can’t recommend her highly enough."

"From our initial contact with Rachel when we were first seeking an enabler for my Mum, we have been thoroughly impressed by every aspect of the service provided by YES. The enablers have all been unstintingly kind, conscientious and professional in their approach and have done everything possible to strike up a real rapport with Mum. It truly helps to ease the burden for us knowing that she is in such good hands. We’ve also much appreciated the warm & friendly nature of the managerial staff for whom nothing is too much trouble."

Y.E.S. came to our rescue when our valued helper needed time off to recover from major surgery. Fortunately, I had heard that Y.E.S. was highly recommended and so I enquired if it would be able to provide us with temporary help. Rachel, the manager of Y.E.S., very quickly arranged regular help for us, with no pressure about the duration.

Our efficient, caring and friendly helper came regularly for almost six months, being relieved at holiday times by other lovely members of the team. Being over 80 with some medical problems, this could have been a very stressful time, but instead it was a very positive experience, thanks to Rachel and her team.

"I have used the services of YES since October 2017. At the time for personal reasons, I had mental health issues as well as some physical problems, and Rachel came to help me.

It took some time, but she helped me discuss matters with my doctor and my medication was changed and after a while things improved.

Since then I have been receiving care from Teresa, Jake, Becky, Aimee, Sarah and occasionally other carers, and have found them all to be friendly, helpful, and professional.

At the present time, due to Rachel and the team, I am in a much better place than I had been for about 10 years, and although I may not now need so much help I am happy to continue receiving their help and advice in order to remain there, especially as my memory is currently not as good as it was. Also I look forward to the arrival of good friends, so thank you YES.

"I needed to put in place care for my mother, this was a challenge as I live in New Zealand. I contacted a number of agencies and individuals including Rachel from YES before we flew over and when we met, Rachel had put together a complete care package for my mother. This consists of three visits a day, seven days a week and is covered by three to four different carers. Each carer has set visits, so mum doesn’t get confused as to who is coming, but if someone is away or sick, they cover the care between themselves. This was so important for me to know that I didn’t need to manage the care when it came to holidays and sick cover. Rachel did an amazing job of organising it and reassuring me that she would look after mum for me, nothing was too much trouble. By the time we left, two weeks later, we had met each of the carers personally and they had met mum as well. This was so much better than dealing with an agency as we would not have known who was going to be visiting until after we had left. We did meet with a number of agencies while we were over and none of them instilled confidence that they would do a good job, whereas Rachel did, she was efficient and professional in the way she presented YES and the service she provides. All the carers are absolutely lovely and mum likes them all, it has run smoothly from day one. I am so pleased we went with YES and Rachel and her colleagues and would recommend them to anyone who is looking to provide care for a loved one. I am truly grateful to have found such a friendly caring group of people."

"Knowing Mum is being visited at a pre arranged time means I can relax in the knowledge that her welfare will be checked, she'll be made, and more importantly encouraged to drink, at least one mug of tea and will have someone to talk to / keep her company for that time."

- Diane

"I came across Rachel’s add on Facebook and thought why not try it for my grandmother. Rachel was more then happy to meet with her first so my grandma could get to know her.
Rachel has been absolutely amazing! My grandma now has regular carers but still looks forward to Rachel’s visits. She has helped so much, in so many ways!"

- Rachel

"The team that help my mum are regarded by her as friends and the work they do is essential in keeping her healthy and happy in her own home . We would be more than happy to recommend the YES services to anyone."

"I started to have Y.E.S back in October in 2021.

The team at Y.E.S are friendly, warm, caring, supportive and  encourage me to try new activities or join a social group.

I can not thank them enough for their continuing support.  It’s also one thing off my mums mind that I have them coming in to see me.
Thank you "

The family would like to take this opportunity to thank you all, particularly Sue and Nic, for the tremendous help and support they offer Bev.  It means so much in enabling Bev to get out and about into the community thus improving her mental health.
